Valentine’s Day is coming once again with its annual, slightly pink-tinted force that makes some people sigh and others book a restaurant table a month in advance.
But here at Exit you don’t have to stare at a candle in awkward silence. For us, Valentine’s Day is above all a celebration of the people who know even your most embarrassing stories and still hang out with you. The ones who might not remember your birthday, but definitely remember how that one escape room went completely off the rails. The ones who tease you when you try the same code on the same lock for the seventh time, but who also cheer you on when inspiration strikes. In other words, the ones we call friends.
An escape game is actually an incredibly good test for a group of friends. You quickly find out who is the team’s Sherlock, who presses every button at once, who wants to ask for a hint after just 15 seconds, and who keeps that famous sense of order going.
So this Valentine’s Day, forget the chocolates and all the usual trimmings, and do something you’ll be reminiscing about for a long time. Gather your crew and put your teamwork to the test. Will it be the thrill of success – or one of those games that didn’t quite go as planned? That’s up to you!
